Strategic visualisation
Visualizing complex problems to help decision-making
WORK SAMPLE 1
Platform Structure
The problem

Discovery process
As an extremely sensitive subject, discovery involved multiple rounds of 1:1 interviews with key stakeholders. The format started at the broadest level - the nature of stockbroking, regulations, industry trends and historical evolution.
As these interviews progressed, sketches were used to play back the understanding and fill gaps or misunderstandings.
These sketches also helped arrive at a consensus about the structure of the platform, and the multiple facets that each stakeholder was focused on.

Interactive prototype
The refined model was built in the form of an interactive prototype and posted on the intranet. This enabled all stakeholders to use it when speaking to the structure of the platform when planning initiatives. It was also available to anyone in the company who wanted to learn about it on their own.

The model continues to be refined as feedback from other groups in the company, and as the value proposition evolves based on feedback from clients.

WORK SAMPLE 1
Digitization Initiative
Digitization initiatives often have many interwoven elements. This makes conversations about scope and prioritization very difficult. A model which shows the full scope of the initiative helps facilitate these discussions, making sure everyone understands how components interact.
Discovery process
For this project, discovery was through a series of workshops. Initial workshops used the Design Thinking format to uncover the vision for the desired experience. This drove subsequent workshops which explored capabilities which will be needed to achieve these experiences.

Interactive prototype
This visualization represents a simplified model of the overall initiative. The goal for this was to keep everyone aligned at the top level, even as separate workstreams were set up to dive deeper into each track.
