BUSINESS CONTEXT
Digitizing business process is a massive undertaking, involving the design and development of a large number of digital capabilities. In the case of financial advice, the biggest effort is in digitizing data entry for the back offices of advisory firms. Adoption of the digitized workflow, however, is driven by the value these firms are able to offer to their consumers.
To aid in the adoption of the broader platform, the team needed to solve the problem of the consumer’s experience. While this is a small part of the overall initiative, it is critical to a successful roll-out.
PRODUCT
Build a digital experience for investors to understand, review and authorize all of the actions that their financial advisors need to take on their behalf. Through this experience, the larger process of providing financial advice can be made digital end-to-end. This will make it easier for advisors to provide high quality service to their investors at lower cost, driving more business to us as the provider of this workflow.

MY ROLE
Running a design sprint to unpack the problem space, understand the challenges and opportunities, and test ideas for an approach.
As the lead designer, coordinate research, visual design, and UI development.
As the design director, work with external vendors for key features of the product to create a common vision for the experience for this product.
